2015: Selected to All-Conference second team...started in all 23 matches and faced 1628 minutes of play…registered a career-high seven goals and 17 points on the season…finished with three assists for the third straight season…recorded three game-winners for the second consecutive season…scored her fourth straight goal on her senior day against SMU (Oct. 25)…notched her third straight game-winning goal in the 90th minute against Houston (Oct. 22)…tallied the game-winning goal in overtime on the road against Tulsa (Oct. 18)…recorded the game-winning goal in the 79th minute at Memphis (Oct. 15)…tallied three points on the road at UCF after netting the equalizer and assisting the game-winner (Sept. 27)…took credit for another game-tying goal at Central Connecticut (Sept. 18)…netted the equalizer against Harvard (Sept. 6)…assisted Stephanie Ribeiro’s game-winning goal against Syracuse (Sept. 3).

2014: NSCAA/Continental Tire All-Northeast Region Third Team...played in all 24 contests and started of three Huskies to log over 2,000 minutes played with 2,099...finished with six goals and three assists for 15 points...recorded three game-winners and led The American with 84 shots...played in the defensive midfield to help UConn record 11 shutouts and a 0.87 team GAA...scored the game-winner vs. Navy (Aug. 24)...struck again with a game-winner vs. Brown (Sept. 21)...recorded an assist vs. No. 5 Florida State (Sept. 18)...headed home an overtime winner at East Carolina (Sept. 25)...posted an assist and a season-high 10 shots vs. Tulsa (Oct. 5)...scored in the NCAA Tournament first round vs. New Hampshire (Nov. 15).

Started in all 20 contests for Connecticut... Tallied five points on one goal and three assists... Registered 21 shots on goal... Scored her lone goal in the first game of the season, a 3-2 loss against Wisconsin (Aug. 23)... Recorded an assist in a 2-1 loss against Georgetown (Sept. 22) and in a 2-1 victory at Rutgers (Oct. 24).

2012: Played in all 19 games for the Huskies and started in mid in 16 contests... Scored a goal in her first three collegiate games and finished the season with nine points on four goals and one assist... Registered two game-winning shots... Scored her first collegiate goal with the game-winner over Vermont (Aug. 19)... Found the back of the net against Boston College (Sept. 24)... Recorded the game-winning shot against Maine (Sept. 26)... Scored a goal in Connecticut's 3-2 win over DePaul (Sept. 28).

Before UConn: The 5-7 forward that led her high school team to two State Championships as she earned All-League and All-Section honors her four years at John Jay High School... McGuire earned numerous accolades throughout her high school career, including 2010 ESPN All-American, 2011 NSCAA All-American, 2008-11 All-League, 2008-11 Elks Club Player of the Year and the 2011 New York Sportswriters Co-Player of the Year... She was a team captain her senior year and led the team in scoring with 105 goals throughout her four years... McGuire also earned the 2010 Exemplary Character and Citizenship Award.

Personal: Samantha Erin is the daughter of Ernest McGuire and Debbie Bayer ... Has two brothers, EJ and Sean, and three sisters, Ashley, Caitlin, and Paige ... a communications major.
