STORRS, Conn. -- The UConn women's soccer team will host the 2015 UConn Women's Soccer Winter Clinic on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 4-7 p.m. at the Mark R. Shenkman Training Facility on campus. The clinic is open to all girls grades 8-12.
For more information on the clinic and to apply, click HERE. The clinic will be run by the UConn coaching staff of Len Tsantiris, Margaret Rodriguez and Zac Shaw. Tsantiris is the second-winningest coach in NCAA women's soccer history with 525 career victories and has made 29 NCAA Tournament appearances. Applications are due by Thursday. Feb. 5.
This past season, UConn went 14-5-5 and won its first American Athletic Conference Championship title. The Huskies, who featured three First Team All-Conference players and two Scholar All-Americans, reached the second round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship.
