STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut women’s soccer team was ranked No. 15 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) national preseason ranking poll as announced by the organization Tuesday, Aug. 2.
UConn, who finished last season with a conference-best, 19-4 overall record, received 325 total points to land the No. 15 spot. In 2015, the Huskies advanced to the third round of the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2007 after claiming the American Athletic Conference regular season title with an 8-1 record in league matches.
