STORRS, Conn.-The UConn women’s soccer team returns home on Wednesday night when they host Marist at 7 p.m. at Morrone Stadium. The Huskies enter the contest with a 2-2-1 record after falling to No. 19 North Carolina and tying No. 16 Santa Clara at the Notre Dame adidas Invitational.

The Huskies, facing the Red Foxes for the first time in program history, are led by senior forward Danielle Schulmann who has tallied nine points on three goals and three assists. The Saddle River, N.J. native is the team leader in both goals and assists.
Connecticut has outshot opponents 86-57 and averaging 2.20 goals per game, while its foes are scoring 1.80 goals per game on 15.8 shot percentage.
Marist comes into Storrs with a 3-1 mark and is led by Chelsea Botta who has registered seven points on three goals and an assist. Behind this week’s MAAC Defensive Player of the Week goalie Caitlin Landsman, the Red Fox defense has held opponents to 1.50 goals per game and a .444 shot on goal percentage.
