    STORRS, Conn.-The women’s soccer team will travel to intrastate rivals Central Connecticut (1-3) on Sunday afternoon for a 1 p.m. contest. The game will be broadcasted live on WHUS at WHUS.org or locally on 91.7 FM. The Huskies hold a 3-2-1 overall record after taking down Marist, 3-1, on Wednesday at Morrone Stadium.

    Leading the way for Connecticut is senior forward Danielle Schulmann (Saddle River, N.J.) who has registered 13 points on four goals and five assists, while junior mid Jennifer Skogerboe (Leesburg, Va.) has five points on two goals and an assist.

    The Huskies freshmen class has been outstanding as they are responsible for six of UConn’s 14 goals this season with Sam McGuire guiding the pack with three goals and one assist, while Stephanie Ribeiro has tallied six points on two goals and two assists and Andrea Plucenik has recorded one goal and one assist. Freshmen keeper Allison Saucier has totaled two shutouts on the season as she holds a 1.70 GAA and has recorded 18 saves.
