    Giddings Named To TopDrawerSoccer's National Team of the Week

    Huskies Upend No. 8 Wake Forest 4-2

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. - After shutting out Boston University and earning a win over No. 8 Wake Forest, sophomore Jessica Dulski has been named the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week. This is the first honor for the starting goalkeeper.

    Also earning BIG EAST honors is freshman Linda Ruutu who was named to the honor roll following her two goal and two assist performance.

    Dulski finished the week with a 2-0 record including a win over No. 8 Wake Forest. She only allowed two goals (both against Wake Forest), earning her first career shut out over Boston University in a 1-0 overtime win.

    Dulski posted a 0.96 GAA during the week and a .867 save percentage in over 187 minutes in goal while making 13 saves, three against BU and 10 (tying her career high) against Wake Forest.

    Ruutu led the team in goals scored and points recorded for the week tallying two goals and two assists for six points. The rookie knocked in two goals against Central Connecticut to help the Huskies to a 3-1 victory on Monday and tallied an assist in each of the next games during the week against Boston University and Wake Forest.

    Ruutu was involved in two of the game winning goals for the Huskies in the last week scoring the game-winner against CCSU and assisting on the game winner against BU. She currently has recorded a point in four straight games.
