PROVIDENCE, R.I. -
UConn women’s soccer sophomore midfielder Erin Spillane (River Vale, N.J.) was named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday while freshman forward Yamilee Eveillard (Valley Stream, N.Y.) was named the Rookie of the Week.

Eveillard made both goals vs. SMU Thursday night to lift the Huskies to a 2-1 win. She is second on the team in goals (four) and third in points (nine).
The Huskies currently have a 6-6-3 record overall and are 4-2 in the league, which is good for fifth place.
UConn returns to action next weekend when it travels to Florida to take on the top two teams in the American Athletic Conference. The Huskies play at first-place UCF on Thursday at 7 p.m. and then take on USF on Sunday at 1 p.m.
