    STORRS, CT (December 17) -- Junior forward Kristen Graczyk (Albuquerque, NM) has been selected as a Third Team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Graczyk is the 24th University of Connecticut women’s soccer team member to be honored as an All-American.

    Graczyk scored 20 goals and added 12 assits for 52 points in 2003 and is one of only 12 players in the nation to record 20 or more goals this year. Her 52 points in 2003 were the sixth-most all-time by a Husky in a season. Graczyk is one of only seven Huskies to register 20 or more goals in a single-season.

    Graczyk recorded her 100th point in UConn’s second round NCAA Tournament victory over Central Connecticut and currently stands in sixth place on UConn’s all-time points list with 112.

    UConn won the 2003 BIG EAST Northeast Division Title, and advanced to the NCAA National Championship Game for the fourth time in its history, finishing the season at 15-6-3.
