    SAN MARCOS, TX (March 18) – The University of Connecticut softball team dropped a tough one Tuesday, to Southwest Texas State 4-0 at Bobcat Field. The Huskies fall to 3-10-1 with the loss, as the Bobcats improve to 22-9-1.

    Southwest Texas scored two runs in the second on a two run home run by Hannah Snow and then added two more runs again in the fourth on a two run double by Ashley Wilson for the 4-0 victory.

    The Huskies only managed to get two hits both by sophomore Jen D’Angelo (Wyomissing, PA).

    Bobcat pitcher Nicole Neuerburg gets the win, while senior Barb Cook (Conklin, NY) takes the loss for the Huskies.

    The Huskies will return to action on Thursday, March 20, against New Mexico State at the New Mexico State Invitational in Las Cruces, NM.
