Travel Information for Softball Games

May 5, 2017

STORRS, Conn. – Due to UConn Commencement ceremonies all weekend, traffic on campus will be unusually heavy for those interested in attending the UConn softball games on Saturday and Sunday against Memphis.

In order to stay away from long delays on the road, alternative routes to the Burrill Family Field are provided below. A campus map in PDF format can be accessed HERE to see a visual of the suggested route.

All fans can park in the lot adjacent to the Freitas Ice Forum – labeled “I Lot” – located just a few hundred feet up Jim Calhoun Way.

The Huskies host Memphis on Saturday in a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. (ET) and on Sunday at noon. UConn’s three seniors – Kayla Doty, Valerie Sadowl and Taylor Townsend – will be celebrated in a pregame Senior Day ceremony on Sunday.

*Please Note – We suggest entering campus through [Route 44] or [Route 32 and 275] instead of using CT-195.

Directions from I-84 – Take Exit 68 toward Tolland/Mansfield. Turn onto CT-195 S off the exit and follow for about .2 miles. Turn right onto CT-32 S and follow for about 4 miles. Take a left onto Rte. 275 and continue for 1 mile. Take a left onto Separatist Road and then take your first right onto Jim Calhoun Way. Continue on Jim Calhoun Way until you reach the Ice Rink parking lot (I-Lot) on your right. Please park in I-Lot for the game.
