Women's Swimming Competes In UConn Husky Open

The Huskies return to the pool Feb. 19 for the Conference Championship

At UConn: Named one of two captains for the 2016-17 season...Selected All-Conference as a junior...Competed on every day of 2016 AAC Championships in freestyle and medley relays...Finished second in 200-IM at Dartmouth meet...Placed third in 200-yard IM at Bison Invitational...Has been one of UConn’s most consistent performers in the 100 and 200-yard freestyle events… Earned All-Conference honors as a sophomore after helping the Huskies finish second in the finals of the 400-yard freestyle relay… Earned two top-10 finishes at the 2015 Conference Meet.

Achievements: Was a member of the Monocacy Aquatic Club National Team for three years... Made the Honor Roll in high school for four years... National Honor Society for 2 years...3x USA Swimming Academic All-American... Frederick County Swimmer of the Year and Maryland Female Swimmer of the year in High School...Thomas Johnson High School record holder in 50 and 100 Free and 100 Breast.

Personal: Born May 25, 1995... Daughter of Fred and Janet Manning... Has one sister, Eliza (16), and one brother, Jack (9)... Undecided Major.
