    At UConn: Tessa has two years of eligibility remaining after transferring from Queens University. Her strengths are the 200-yard fly, 200 and 400-IM and she has a chance to be very good in all those events.

    Achievements: Received All-American honors at the NCAA II Championships while at Queens University... Named MVP her freshman year at Queens... Was MVP two years in a row at Middle Creek High School... Captained the team her senior year.

    Personal: Born February 18th, 1993... Daughter of Mike and Christa Pena... Has three sisters, Torie (18), Kendal (18) and Karsen (9)... Psychology Major.

    Why UConn: "I wanted to make the transition to a bigger university. The team seemed really close and that sold me."
