UConn swimmers remembered the Sandy Hook tragedy on Sunday with green caps.

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's swimming and diving team posted a 166-108 win over Seton Hall on Sunday. The meet was also Senior Day for the Huskies as the team improved its dual meet record to 4-1 on the season.
UConn senior diver Danielle Cecco (Hicksville, N.Y) was a double-winner in the one-meter with 320.10 points and she had 344.40 points to win the three-meters. Senior Nicole Borriello (Montgomery, N.Y.) was second in both diving events.
Senior Marry DeMarrais (Bernardsville, N.J.) won the 500-yard freestyle in 5:12.87 and senior Jordan Bowen (Lake Elmo, Minn.) won the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:27.89. Senior Katie Dobler (Pittsford, N.Y.) won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:56.42 while freshman Kristen Goodson (Fort Myers, Fla.) won the 100-yard backstroke in 59.47 seconds.
Sophomore Holly Gallagher (Haddon Township, N.J.) won the 200-yard butterfly in 2:08.87 while sophomore Chinyere Pigot (Miami, Fla.) won the 50-yard freestyle in 24.47 seconds. Freshman Laura Hyland (Southport, England) won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:21.71 while freshman Rachel Burke (Wayne, Ill.) won the 100-yard freestyle in 53.38 seconds.
The Huskies return to action next Saturday when they travel to Dartmouth for a 1 p.m. meet.
