HANOVER, N.H. - The University of Connecticut women's swimming and diving team dropped a 170-125 decision to Dartmouth on Saturday as the Huskies fall to 4-2 on the dual meet season.
Senior Danielle Cecco (Hicksville, New York) won the three-meter diving with a score of 298.50 and the one-meter event with a mark of 325.95.
Freshman Kennedy Meirer (Winnipge, Man.) won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:05.96 while sophomore Katy Munzenmaier (Lake George, N.Y.) won the 200-yard IM in 2:12.01.
The Huskies took the top three spots in the 400-yard freestyle relay, including the winning team of sophomore Chinyere Pigot (Miami, Fla.), freshman Rachel Burke (Wayne, Ill.), senior Jordan Bowen (Lake Elmo, Minn.) and senior Kate Dobler (Pittsford, N.Y.).
UConn returns to action next Saturday when it travels to Colgate for a 1:00 p.m. meet.
