    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - University of Connecticut senior Adrian Astiz (Rockville, Md.) won the B Final in the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 48.884 seconds and finished second overall in the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 1:49.04 as selected members of the men's and women's swimming teams competed at the ECAC Championships this weekend at Harvard University.
    

    Astiz had the best preliminary time in the field for the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 1:47.36 and was 14th in the 100-yard butterfly prelims in 50.59 seconds.

    Junior Bill Magin (Brookfield, Conn.) advanced to the 100-yard freestyle B Final and finished fourth with a time of 46.81 seconds. He was tenth in the preliminaries in 46.55 seconds. He was 17th in the prelims for the 200-yard freestyle in 1:42.78.

    Freshman Nick Majtenyi (Catherines, Ont.) also advanced to the B Final of the 200-yard freestyle and finished second in a time of 1:41.48. He was 15th in the preliminaries in 1:42.68. He was 38th in the 100-yard freestyle preliminaries in 48.32 seconds.

    Junior Rachel Harrison (Holliston, Mass.) was 24th in the preliminaries of the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:12.91 to represent the women's team.
