The UConn standout also finished second in another backstroke event and freestyle relay at the three-day event, which took place July 4-7.
Pedersen, who swept the backstroke events at last year’s championship, won the 100-meter backstroke in a time of 1:04.81. Astrid Halvorsen (1:06.42) finished second and Ina Gimse earned third place after swimming the race in 1:06.64.
In the 200-meter backstroke, Pedersen sailed to a first-place finish, completing the race nearly six seconds ahead of the next competitor. She posted a time of 2:18.27, while Halvorsen came in at 2:24.08 to take second place.
Pedersen rounded out her stint at the Norwegian National Championships with second place finishes in the 50-meter backstroke and 200-meter freestyle relay. She boasted a time of 30.46 seconds in the 50-meter to finish behind Elise Olsen (29.94). Her relay team claimed second place after swimming the 200-meter freestyle in 8:23.63.
"Christine's commitment to training and consistent quality performances throughout the year is a tribute to her efforts in the pool," head coach Bob Goldberg said. "I am very proud of her performance."
Pedersen earned All-Conference honors this past season after finishing third in the finals of the 200-yard backstroke at the 2015 American Athletic Championships.
