Abby McKeon: is a talented all court player who fights for every point. Abby is a great leader in the weight room, on the court and in the classroom as she always gives 100%. She has a big serve, solid ground strokes, and always attacks the net. She is our co-captain and has the ability to really step up her game and help the team improve its overall records. Abby has a strong personality, and is always positive and cheering on her teammates. She is the heart of the team.
Before UConn: Ranked the sixth player in the state of Massachusetts and the 13th in New England ... lost one singles match in her entire playing career at Westford ... also competed for the Manchester Athletic 18 Singles Club ... the top singles player at Westford, she was acknowledged as the team's most valuable player three times ... earned DCL All-Star accolades four times ... she served as team captain as a junior and senior ... competed at the USTA National Girls 18 Open in 2007 ... named to the Boston Globe's All-Scholastic Team.
