The Huskies won the opening match of the four rounds of doubles action.
Alex is tall and has a very effective serve. She can open up the court with it, and look to attack the front part of the court. Her groundstrokes are heavy on both sides. She is very competitive and always wants to do her best.

7. I chose UConn because I love this place. As soon as I stepped on campus I knew I had to go here. It is a great size with so much to do and I am surrounded by a great team. It is a great mix of athletics and academics.
8. Hobby/what you like to do in your free time: Draw cartoons and listen to music

13. Fun facts: I have two Labradors, I love chai tea lattes, and I live in flip-flops.
14. Describe your game in 2-3 sentences: I am a heavy baseline hitter with lots of spin. I serve and volley whenever I can, and my favorite shot is my inside-out forehand.
