MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The University of Connecticut women's tennis fell to a 7-9 record this spring after losing a 2-5 decision at West Virginia. Kelley LoRusso (Shoreham, N.Y.) and Emily Herb (Cherry Hill, N.J.) found success at their respective singles matches over the Mountaineers.
LoRusso battled through three-sets to win at No. 1 singles while Herb took her opponent down in two 6-3 sets at No. 4.
On April 8, the Huskies look forward to a 3 p.m. match at Rutgers.
