STORRS, Conn. - Head coach Glenn Marshall announced the Fall slate of the 2009-10 schedule for the University of Connecticut women's tennis team on Thursday. The Huskies will host Bryant in their lone match at home while the team travels to four invitational throughout the months of September and October.
Women's tennis once again kicks off the year at the Fairfield Doubles Invitational on September 13 before traveling to competing in the Quinnipiac and Army Invitationals on the following weekends.
UConn takes on Bryant in its only match at the University of Connecticut Tennis Courts and one of only two non-invitational competitions scheduled in the fall. After the Huskies face Bryant on the first of October, they will continue on to the Bucknell Invitational October 2-4.
In just their second match of the fall season, the Huskies travel to UMass for a 2:30 p.m. contest against the Minutewomen.
After a break from action, women's tennis will compete at the Regional Championships at Yale in New Haven, Connect October 22-25.
