    UConn Women's Track and Field Travels to Great Dane Invite

    STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's track and field team will travel to Armory in New York City and compete at the Great Dane Invitational tomorrow afternoon. The meet will serve as the squad's first scored meet of the season after the Huskies posted eight first-place finishes and set seven new personal-bests last week at the Yale Invite.     Eight UConn Athletes Set Personal Bests on Saturday in New Haven

    • Competed in the discus at the ECAC Championships where she finished 16th with a throw of 44.09m.
    • Finished eighth (44.45m) in the discus at the BIG EAST Championships.

    High School: Attended Stonington High School... was a four-time letter winner and school record holder in discus, shot put, and hammer...Was a two-time All-State and All-New England recipient...Was a three-time All-Eastern Connecticut Conference award winner...Also captained the basketball team earning three letters and was a two-time letter winner in field hockey.
