BIG EAST Qualifier - Outdoor

Competed only in outdoor competition after leading the UConn women's ice hockey team to one of their most successful seasons in program history... in the shot put she came in second at Brown and 11th at the ECAC Championship... recorded a season-best throw of 13.87 meters (45-06.25) in her ninth place finish at the BIG EAST Championship... was named UConn's first ever All-American in women's ice hockey after the 2007-08 season.

Attended Ecole Secondaire Regional de Hawkesbury...played for the Canadian U-22 National Team in the summer of 2006...also played for Montreal Axion of the won the Ontario winter games in 2003 and helped Team Ontario Red to a gold medal in 2005...named collegial AA Rookie of the Year and was named MVP of the All-Star Game...also lettered in basketball, soccer and volleyball...placed second in Canada in the shot put in 2006...high school's Athlete of the Year as a freshman and sophomore...primary language is French.

Dominique Lynne is the daughter of Rock and Denise Thibault...has two sisters, Andreanne (20) and Karine (14)...born on August 26, 1988...human development and family studies major.
