2016 Season: Breakout season as a redshirt freshman, being named All-American Athletic Conference Second Team…Played in all 31 matches…Led the team in kills (392), total attacks (1,045), service aces (28), digs (332) and points (439)…Ranked seventh in the conference with 3.47 kills per set and 16th in digs with 2.94 per set…Team-high 17 double-doubles, including a career-high 26 kills (plus 15 digs) against Albany on Sept. 16…Career-high 23 digs against Tulsa on Nov. 23…25 matches with 10+ kills…Season-high streak of 13 consecutive matches with double-digit kills.

2015 Season: Did not see any action.

Before UConn: 
A member of the All-Star Volleyball Association, Williams earned four letters under head coach Sonia Colon in her high school career As a senior, her 204 regular season kills topped the PSAL, while her 62 service aces were good for 15th in the league. She was tabbed as team MVP in 2012, 2013 and 2015 and served as captain in both the 2014 and 2015 campaigns. In addition to her time on the court, she captained the school's tennis team and was selected as team MVP in 2014. 


Personal: The daughter of Marc Williams and Charlene Threewitts, she has three sisters, Angela, Ciarra, Mya, and three brothers, Jorrell, Jalen and Leon...Psychology major.
