NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The University of Connecticut volleyball team dropped a 3-0 match at BIG EAST rival Notre Dame, Saturday afternoon. The Huskies fell to 11-8 overall and evened out their league record at 2-2. The Fighting Irish improved to 11-6 and 4-1.

Senior outside hitter Mattison Quayle (Los Angeles, Calif.) recorded match-best 10 kills and UConn. Freshman setter Marissa Prinzbach (Cincinnati, Ohio) registered 21 assists and a team-high eight digs.
Jeni Housert tallied eight kills and hit .538 for the Irish, while Hilary Eppink attacked at a .353 rate with a team-leading nine kills.
Maggie Brindock collected 27 assists, while Taylor Morey registered 10 digs.
The Huskies return to action tomorrow at 3:00 pm at DePaul.
