UConn (9-4, 2-0 The American) will be searching for its third-straight American Athletic Conference win after downing Temple and East Carolina last week. Junior middle blocker Immanuella Anagu (Culver City, Calif.) made history when she was selected as the conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.  It marked the first time a player has earned both the offensive and defensive weekly American Athletic Conference accolades in the same season.

The Huskies are 0-3 all-time against the Knights, including two losses in The American's inaugural season. Most recently, UCF topped UConn, 3-1, on Nov. 10 in Storrs despite a nine-kill performance from Camille Evans (Chicago, Ill.). Connecticut owns a 7-4 record against the Bulls, but was swept twice by its out-of-state foes in 2013.

The Huskies haven't opened a season 3-0 in conference play since the 2004 campaign when the team topped its first five Big East opponents. At 9-4, UConn is also attempting to 10 of its first 14 matches for the first time since 2007.
