Mattison Quayle earned an honor roll spot for the second time this season.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – University of Connecticut volleyball senior outside hitter Mattison Quayle was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the week ending November 11.
Quayle, from Los Angeles, Calif., led the Husky attack in a 2-0 week in preparation for their first postseason appearance since 2009. She totaled 33 kills (4.12 k/s) and hit .198 in wins over Georgetown and USF. Quayle scored 19 kills, hitting .250 on “Senior Night” against the Bulls on Friday. For the week, she averaged 1.12 digs per set and 1.00 blocks per set.
In between the second and third sets against USF, Quayle was honored for having reached the 1,000-kill mark in a match at Marquette (Nov. 2). She enters tournament play with 1,058 career kills, ranked 10th all-time at Connecticut.
The No. 4 seed Huskies return to action at the BIG EAST Championship in Milwaukee, Wis., hosted by Marquette, on Friday, November 16 at 10:00 am against No. 5 Cincinnati.
