    UConn Women's Cross Country Posts Excellent Results in Season Opener

    The Huskies claimed 10 of the first 11 spots in the 4K race

    2013-2014 XC: Finsihed 10th at Shawn M. Nassany Memorial Race with a time of 18:32.4... posted a 10th-place finish at the UMass Invite... Grabbed 14th place at the American Athletic Conference Championships (21:23) en route to All-Conference Honors... Earned a 34th-place finish at the NCAA Regionals (21:10).

    High School: Attended Maranacook Community High in Readfield, ME... Captain of the cross country , outdoor track and cross country skiing team... Four time All-State first team in cross country... Two time KVAC champion... Four time Western Maine champion... Four time All-Conference first team... Three top ten finishes at the New England Championships... Foot Locker All-Northeast Selection... Also All-State in track and school record holder in the 1600m (5:05) and 3200m (11:04)... Four time KVAC Class B Champion... Five time KVAC champion in skiing and three time class B state champ... Memember of the honor roll and received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence...
