HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- Number 11 Connecticut had a 100-66 win tonight over Fairfield.

The win was the ninth in a row for the Huskies while Fairfield fell to 3-6.

Albert Mouring scored 18 of his game-high 22 points in the second half.

The Huskies never trailed in the game, taking an early 9-2 lead as Edmund Saunders, Taliek Brown, Caron Butler and Mouring all scored.

It was 18-11 when the Huskies went on a 13-2 run with Johnny Selvie scoring seven of the points. Selvie finished with 13 of his 21 in the first half when U-Conn took a 48-31 lead.

Mouring scored eight quick points in the second half as UConn pushed the lead to 58-33.

The Stags got within 15, 74-59, on a three-pointer by Jermaine Clark with 9:20 left, but four points by Saunders and a three-point play by Mouring made it 81-59.

Fairfield did not get within 20 the rest of the way.

Saunders and Butler had 16 points apiece.
