ADA

Alcohol Policy

Any attempt to bring outside alcohol into the stadium is a violation of facility regulations and may result in the guest being denied admittance, ejected, arrested, and/or tickets being revoked. Alcohol is available for purchase for individuals 21 and older inside the venue.

  • Intoxicated Guests - Pratt & Whitney Stadium reserves the right to deny entry or sale of alcohol to any guest that appears to be intoxicated. These individuals may be ejected from the venue and/or subject to legal action.

Animals

Animals are not permitted inside the stadium with the exception of service animals and service animals in training. Guests with service animals may request accessible seating.

ATMs

ATMs can be found on the concourse behind Sections 105 (Gate B), 114 (Gate C) & 126 (Gate D) and can be found on the Stadium Map.

Baby Changing Stations

Baby changing stations are available in all restrooms and in the family restrooms located behind Sections 101, 118 & 127.

Bag Policy

All bags must adhere to the 12" x 6" x 12" approved bags policy and will be searched upon entry to the venue. For more information, please visit UConnHuskies.com/bagpolicy.

Binoculars

Guests are welcome to bring their own binoculars to events at Pratt & Whitney Stadium, subject to inspection at all entrances.

Cameras

Cameras with lenses that exceed 3 inches or that have a removable lens are not permitted. Hand-held still cameras are allowed for personal use only and may not be used for advertising, promotions or other trade purposes, or any other commercial or promotional endeavor, without the permission of UConn Athletics.

Child Ticket Policy

All persons over the age of 2 years old must have a ticket for admission.

Concessions

Full service concession stands are located throughout the concourse. Satellite stands are also available around the concourse. All full service concessions stands accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover debit/credit cards. Alcohol is available for purchase for individuals 21 and older inside the venue. Conference Code of Sportsmanship

The American Athletic Conference encourages and promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or ethnic comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition.

  • From Bradley International Airport: Take I-91 South to Hartford to I-84 EAST (Exit 32 - Left Exit). Follow I-84 East to Exit 58, ROBERTS STREET/SILVER LANE. On the Exit Ramp, keep to the right and continue straight through Silver Lane into the RENTSCHLER FIELD MAIN GATE.
  • From the West: Take I-84 East toward HARTFORD. Follow I-84 East to Exit 58, ROBERTS STREET/SILVER LANE. On the Exit Ramp, keep to the right and continue straight through Silver Lane into the RENTSCHLER FIELD MAIN GATE.
  • From Campus (Storrs, CT): Take Route 44 West to I-384 West. Follow I-384 West to Manchester. Take Exit 1 SPENCER STREET. Turn left at end of exit ramp onto Spencer Street. Follow Spencer Street onto Silver Lane in East Hartford. Follow Silver Lane to RENTSCHLER FIELD EAST GATE.
  • From Boston: From the Mass Pike, take I-84 West toward HARTFORD to Exit 58, ROBERTS STREET/SILVER LANE. At the end of the Exit Ramp, turn left onto Roberts Street and follow to Silver Lane. Merge into one lane and continue straight through Silver Lane into the RENTSCHLER FIELD MAIN GATE.
  • From Providence: Take Route 6 West or Route 44 West to I-384 West. Follow I-384 West to Manchester. Take Exit 1 SPENCER STREET. Turn left at end of exit ramp onto Spencer Street. Follow Spencer Street onto Silver Lane in East Hartford. Follow Silver Lane to RENTSCHLER FIELD EAST GATE.
  • From New York: Take I-95 North to I-91 North toward Hartford to Route 15 North/to I-84 East/Charter Oak Bridge (Exit 29). Merge left onto Route 15. After the bridge, take Exit 91 SILVER LANE. Turn right at end of ramp onto Silver Lane. Follow Silver Lane toward the RENTSCHLER FIELD MAIN GATE. For General Parking, stay in the right lane and turn right into the RENTSCHLER FIELD MAIN GATE. For Reserved Parking, merge into the left lane and continue straight on Silver Lane to the RENTSCHLER FIELD EAST GATE.

Drones

Drones are strictly prohibited from the venue.

Emergency

In the event of an emergency, please notify the nearest police officer or event staff personnel.

  • Emergency Evacuation - In the event that it is determines that it is necessary to evacuate the venue, an announcement will be made by the public address announcer, accompanied by a video board message, directing fans to proceed to the nearest exit.
  • Emergency Preparedness - Guests are encouraged to follow the emergency preparedness guidelines outlined below in the case of emergency.
    • During any emergency inside the stadium, follow the directions of the public address announcer, event staff, and emergency responders.
    • Always designate a pre-determined location both inside and outside the stadium to meet friends and family in case you are separated or in the event of an emergency.
    • Upon arriving at your seat location, find the nearest exit and locate an alternate exit in case of emergency.
    • If you see or become aware of any activity that is unusual, suspicious, or causes you concern, report the activity to the nearest police officer or event staff.
    • Emergency vehicles may be present in and around the arena. Please do not obstruct the path of travel of an emergency vehicle or interfere in any way with their operations. Vehicles blocking emergency vehicles, exits, or traffic are subject to tow at the owner's expense. Please do not obstruct any exits or exit pathways.
    • Monitor the weather prior to the game. Take the necessary precautions to protect your family and friends should severe weather occur before, during, or after the game.

Entry

All patrons must adhere to the bag policy and prohibited items for entry in the stadium. A complete bag policy and list of prohibited items list can be found here.

  • Club & Suite Level Entrance - Club and Suite ticket holders should proceed to the Tower A elevator, located at Gate A. Open 2 hours prior to game time.
  • General Public Entrances - All gates open 90 minutes prior to game time.
  • High School Coach Entrance - High school coaches should enter at Gate D. All gates open 90 minutes prior to game time.
  • Media Entrance - Media members should proceed to Tower B located at Gate B. The media entrance opens 3 hours prior to game time.
  • Student Entrances - UConn students must enter through Gate C and must have a student ticket and valid UConn ID for entry.
  • UConn Player-Guest Entrance - Located at Gate C. All individuals picking up a ticket must present a valid photo ID. All gates open 90 minutes prior to game time.
  • Visiting Team Player-Guest Entrance - Located at Gate D. All individuals picking up a ticket must present a valid photo ID. All gates open 90 minutes prior to game time.
  • Sales and General Will Call - Located at Gate B and opens 3 hours prior to kick-off.

Event Staff

Event Staff can be identified by the bright yellow or light blue jackets labeled "Event Staff". Please notify the nearest event staff member if you have any questions or concerns throughout the game.

Family Restrooms

Family restrooms are located behind Sections 101, 118 & 127.

Fan Conduct

UConn and the NCAA promote good sportsmanship. UConn Athletics expects all guests to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times before, during, and after the game. We anticipate all guests will treat other guests, student-athletes, coaches, and officials with courtesy and in a positive manner. Violators are subject to ejection and possible arrest. Repeated offenses will result in the loss of season or student ticket privileges.

  • Guests of UConn Athletics are expected to:
    • Be prepared to show ticket stubs when entering any assigned seating location.
    • Sit in assigned seats to avoid inconveniencing other guests.
    • Keep aisles clear at all times.
    • Refrain from entering the playing surface, throwing objects, using/displaying foul or abusive language and gestures, or any other actions that may prove hazardous
  • Guests should contact an event staff member if they feel someone around them is acting inappropriately. If you need assistance at a game, contact the nearest event staff member.

Fan Fest

Fan Fest will be located on the north side of the stadium between Gates C & D and will start in conjunction with the Husky Walk approximately 2 ½ hours before kickoff. Fan Fest is free for all fans and a great way to kick up the excitement and energy for UConn Football. Check UConnHuskies.com for weekly updates on promotions, entertainment and giveaways.

First Aid/EMS

The first aid station is located on the concourse behind Section 104, inside Gate B. For any emergencies, Dial 911 or contact the nearest event staff or security personnel.

Game Programs

Game programs are free and available at all gates and roster cards are available for $1 and available at all gates.

Gates Open

Stadium gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Suite and Club ticket holders can enter the stadium 2 hours prior to kickoff.

Guest Services

The Guest Services booth is located behind Section 105 inside Gate B and behind Section 120.

Husky Walk

Kickoff your gameday with a UConn tradition and greet the football team as they arrive at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field. The Husky Walk will be taking place approximately 2 ½ hours before kickoff on the north side of the stadium between Gates C & D. View the gameday stadium map here.

IMG College/UConn Sports Marketing

IMG College is UConn Athletics' multimedia rights vendor and provides businesses the opportunity to align themselves with one of the most recognizable and successful brands in college athletics. UConn Sports Marketing produces and delivers conventional over-the-air radio, with UConn Sports Network affiliate WTIC NewsTalk 1080 as the flagship station, as well as signage, gameday publications, consumer and retail promotions and video. Junior Husky Club

The Junior Husky Club is the Official Kids Club of UConn Athletics. All kids thirteen (13) and under are eligible to register for the Junior Husky Kids Club (due to NCAA rules). For more information or to become a member, please visit JuniorHusky.com or email juniorhusky@uconn.edu.

Lost & Found

During the event, please report any lost items or turn in any found items to the Guest Services Booth located behind Section 105 inside Gate B and behind Section 120. After the event, please contact Stadium Operations at 860-610-4766860-610-4766.

Lost Patrons/Children

Please contact the nearest event staff or law enforcement personnel immediately should a member of your party become separated or lost.

Lost Tickets

Lost tickets should be reported to the UConn Athletics Ticket Office. Contact the ticket office by email at athtickets@uconn.edu, by phone at 1-877-AT-UCONN1-877-AT-UCONN (1-877-288-2666) (M-F, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) or on gameday at the Box Office located at Gate B beginning 3 hours prior to game time.

Media members should proceed to Tower B located at Gate B. Valid photo identification is required in order to pick up tickets or credentials left at media will call. Upon entry, bags will be searched and tagged upon approval. Only credentialed personnel are permitted into the designated media areas.

Merchandise

The HuskyMania Fan Shop is the official UConn team merchandise store at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field. There are locations at Gates A, B, C & D inside the stadium, as well as a shop on the club level and sales available to the suites. All major credit cards are accepted.

Parking

Again this season exclusively for season parking pass holders - beginning 5 hours prior to game time, park anywhere in select lots during the first 2 hours to park and tailgate next to friends and family. Parking lots open 4 hours prior to game time for all fans.

Season parking passes are $95 for vehicles and $155 for RV's and can be purchased online at UConnTickets.com. For fans who choose game-by-game parking options, parking is $15 for cars, $25 for RV's and $30 for buses. Click here for more parking information or here to view the map.

Police

Law enforcement is present on gameday to ensure the safety of all student-athletes, coaches, and spectators. In the event of an emergency, dial 911 or notify the nearest event personnel.

Prohibited Actions/Items

All guests are subject to search at game management's discretion. All guests with prohibited items will be required to return any prohibited items to their vehicles. UConn reserves the right to deny anyone or anything from entering the arena.

  • The following actions are prohibited:
    • Throwing or kicking objects in the seating areas
    • Unauthorized entry into the playing surface
    • Disorderly conduct (including the use of profanity or offensive language)
    • Standing or sitting in the aisles, ramps, or walkways
    • Ticket scalping (inside or outside the arena)
  • The following items are prohibited:
    • Alcoholic Beverages
      • Policy: Any attempt to bring alcohol into the venue is a violation of facility regulations and may result in the guest being denied admittance, ejected, arrested, and/or tickets revoked. Note that the "No Alcohol Perimeter" starts when you get in line.
      • Reason: UConn is committed to providing all fans with a safe, fun and enjoyable experience. Fans are encouraged report those in violation of this policy.
    • Animals (Except Service Animals)
      • Policy: Animals are not permitted inside the venue with the exception of service animals and service animals in training. Guests with service animals may request accessible seating.
      • Reason: UConn is committed to providing all fans with a safe, fun and enjoyable experience.
    • Artificial Noisemakers
      • Policy: Artificial noisemakers are not permitted inside the venue, per the American Conference Policy.
      • Reason: Artificial noisemakers are a disruption to players, officials, and other spectators. In order to provide all fans and student-athletes with the best possible experience, noisemakers are not allowed.
    • Audio and Video Recording Equipment
      • Policy: Audio and video recorders and recording equipment are strictly prohibited except for credentialed working media. Video images taken in the venue must be for personal use only and may not be used for advertising, promotions or other trade purposes, or any other commercial or promotional endeavor, without the permission of UConn.
      • Reason: UConn is obligated to protect the television and digital rights granted by the television networks and other media. By prohibiting video cameras, except for use by credentialed working media, UConn can best manage that obligation.
    • Bags Larger Than 12"X 6"X 12" and Backpacks
      • Policy: All bags are subject to search upon entry and are subject to additional searches within the stadium. Backpacks or oversized bags are not permitted. Purses/tote bags that are smaller than 12"x6"x12" will be permitted. Diaper bags are permitted in the company of a small child. Bags carrying medical needs will also be permitted and are subject to search by venue personnel. Bags for equipment and computers for those working the event, such as media, photographers, etc. are permitted and are subject to search upon entry into the venue.
      • Reason: National and local security officials have designated backpacks and large bags as security risks. Unattended bags create a security threat. Bags may not be left at the gates and will be confiscated, removed, and discarded immediately.
      • Recommendation: For overall safety and security, UConn recommends fans to reduce the need to bring bags into the venue - leave all unnecessary items at home/vehicle. Please use bags smaller than 12"x6"x12" (per person) for carrying personal items into the venue.
    • Balloons
      • Policy: Balloons are not permitted inside the venue.
      • Reason: UConn is committed to providing all fans with a safe, fun and enjoyable experience. Balloons may cause obstructed views and disruption to the facility and other spectators.
    • Banners, Posters, Signs
      • Policy: Management reserves the right to remove any signs or banners at any time. All signs must be handheld, event related, in good taste, and cannot obstruct another guest's view. Signs may not contain commercial messages, logos, or political endorsements and may not obscure arena signage. Any signs determined to be obscene, vulgar, indecent, inappropriate, or derogatory will not be permitted, per the American Conference Policy. Signs or flags on sticks or poles are not permitted. Guests with unpermitted signs will be asked to return them to their vehicle or dispose of them upon entry.
      • Reason: Banners or poles in the venue can be a nuisance to other fans by obstructing their view of the game, and can create safety concerns for those in the area. Also, UConn must abide by its contractual agreements with corporate sponsors regarding signage in the venue.
    • Cameras
      • Policy: Cameras with lenses that exceed three (3) inches or that have a removable lens are not permitted. Hand-held still cameras are allowed for personal use only and may not be used for advertising, promotions or other trade purposes, or any other commercial or promotional endeavor, without the permission of UConn Athletics.
      • Reason: The sale of images with current student-athletes is against NCAA rules and can risk the eligibility of UConn student-athletes. Additionally, any commercial use of photos of the venue, campus landmarks or identifiable campus elements is prohibited without the prior written approval of the University.
    • Coolers, Cans, Glass Bottles, Flasks or Any Outside Food and Beverage
      • Policy: Coolers, cans, glass bottles, flasks or any outside food and beverage are not permitted inside the venue.
      • Reason: UConn is obligated to abide by the contractual agreement with venue concessionaires. Full service and satellite concession stands are located throughout the concourse.
    • Drones
      • Policy: Drones are strictly prohibited at the venue.
    • Drugs
      • Policy: In accordance with institutional, state and federal regulations, drugs are prohibited inside the venue.
    • Laptops
      • Policy: Laptops are strictly prohibited, except for credentialed media.
      • Reason: UConn is obligated to protect the rights of credentialed working media and all data associated with the contest.
    • Laser Pointers
      • Policy: Laser pointers are not permitted inside the venue, per the American Conference Policy.
      • Reason: Laser pointers are a disruption to players, officials, and other spectators. In order to provide all fans and student-athletes with the best possible experience, laser pointers are not allowed.
    • Promotional Items with Commercial Identification Not Approved by UConn
      • Policy: UConn must abide by its contractual agreements with corporate sponsors regarding promotional items and signage in the venue. Guests with unpermitted signs will be asked to return them to their vehicle or dispose of them upon entry.
    • Umbrellas
      • Policy: Umbrellas are not permitted in the venue.
      • Reason: Umbrellas are a safety hazard and can be an obstruction of view for other spectators.
      • Recommendation: UConn strongly advises the use of ponchos or other wearable rain gear for inclement weather.
    • Smoking
      • Policy: Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaporizers, is prohibited inside the venue.
      • Reason: UConn is committed to providing all fans with a safe, fun and enjoyable experience.
    • Weapons of Any Kind (Including Concealed Carry)
      • Policy: In accordance with institutional, state and federal regulations, weapons are prohibited inside the venue.

Radios

Hand-held and pocked sized portable radios are allowed in the stadium. Please be considerate of guests and use an earpiece to listen to your radio.

Re-Entry Policy

Pratt & Whitney Stadium is a "no re-entry" facility. Once your ticket has been scanned, it will no longer be valid for entry.

Restrooms

Men's Restrooms are located behind Sections 102, 109, 114, 117, 124, 128, 136 & 140.
Women's Restrooms are located behind Sections 100, 108, 111, 112, 118, 123, 127, 135 & 138. All restrooms are ADA accessible and equipped with baby changing stations.

Seatbacks

New this season, fans can lease a season-long premium comfort Husky Seat and have it installed before the first game and it will remain there for the entire season. Order by the Aug. 25 deadline to reserve your seat for just $45! Visit Husky Seats online or call 844-331-5066. Padded single-game seatback rentals will be available for $10 per game and can be purchased at each gate entrance at the stadium.

Strollers

Stroller storage is limited; all patrons are encouraged to leave them safely stored inside their vehicles. Please contact the nearest security or event staff member for assistance. Strollers are not permitted in any seating areas. UConn Athletics assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged strollers or content and are stored at the owner's risk.

Student Seating

Tailgating

  • Student Tickets - UConn Student Tickets are valid ONLY for UConn students with a valid student ID card. ID must be presented with ticket upon entering the stadium.

The UConn Athletics Ticket Transfer program is a great way to easily and efficiently ensure your tickets do not go unused and help the Huskies maintain the home field advantage.   • Ticket Office Hours - Tickets may be purchased at the UConn ticket office Monday thru Friday anytime from 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM, located in the Field House on Hillside Road. On game days, the Box Office opens three hours prior to game time and will remain open until the end of halftime.

    • Sales and General Public Will Call -Located at Gate B and opens 3 hours prior to game time. All gates at Pratt & Whitney Stadium open 90 minutes prior to game time.
    • Media Entrance - Media members should proceed to Tower B located at Gate B. The media entrance opens 3 hours prior to kick-off.
    • Student Entrances - UConn students must enter through Gate C and must have a student ticket and valid UConn ID for entry. All gates open 90 minutes prior to game time.
    • UConn Player-Guest Entrance - Located at Gate C. All individuals picking up a ticket must present a valid photo ID. All gates open 90 minutes prior to game time.

Visiting Team Fans

Visiting team fans are guests of Pratt & Whitney Stadium and UConn Athletics and are held to the same fan behavior conduct standards outlined above. All guests are expected to treat other guests, student-athletes, coaches, and officials with courtesy and in a positive manner. Violators are subject to ejection and possible arrest.

Visiting Team Will Call is located at Gate D. Tickets may be picked up 1.5 hours prior to kick-off. Ticket distribution is determined by the visiting team. By NCAA rule, all guests picking up UConn and Visiting Team Player-Guest Tickets must provide valid identification, sign for their ticket, and immediately enter the stadium.
