At Connecticut: First-year performer who played in 33 games off the bench in his first season as a junior college transfer.

As a Junior in 2001-2002: Played in 33 games off the bench... Averaged 1.2 points and 1.5 rebounds as the first Husky front court reserve... Had a career-best seven points against West Virginia... Supplied the Huskies with six points in the quarterfinals of the BIG EAST Conference Tournament against Villanova...Had four points and two rebounds in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen win over Southern Illinois... Had four points and five rebounds in the win at Georgetown... Averaged 3.0 points and 3.2 rebounds in the last five regular season games... Averaged 8.0 minutes per game... In the final 12 games of the season, he scored 29 of his 40 points, went 7-of-14 from the field and 15-of-23 from the line.

Before UConn: Played for two years at Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City, Kansas…Led Cowley (23-8) in both scoring (13.7/game) and rebounding (11.4/game) during 2000-2001…Shot 59.8% from the floor…Averaged 8.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in first season at Cowley CC in 1999-2000…Averaged 11.0 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in 57 contests during his two years at the junior college level…Graduate of Bulkeley High School in Hartford, CT.
