STORRS, Conn. - The No. 15 UConn baseball team (32-8, 8-1 BIG EAST) walked-off Villanova (15-20-1, 5-7 BIG EAST), 2-1, to earn the series victory on Sunday afternoon at Elliot Ballpark.Â
UConn loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the ninth for right fielder Casey Dana. After providing a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning for Connecticut, Dana lifted a fly ball to center field that was deep enough to score David Smith and earn the Huskies their 10th-straight winning weekend of the year.
