IN 2002: Played in 46 games, with 43 of them behind the
plate... led team in doubles with 16... second on the team in home runs with
eight and total bases with 105... notched a slugging percentage of .561 along
with 63 hits, which were fourth on the team... also fifth on the team in RBIs
with 40... had 18 multiple hit games and 12 multiple RBI games... finished the
season on a 20 game hitting streak... threw out 48 percent of the runners trying
to steal... recorded four hits, four runs, four RBIs, along with a double and a
homerun against Fairfield (4/23)... made 287 putouts and 48 assists, while
fielding at a .982 mark.
IN 2001: Handled the bulk of the catching chores in the
absence of Red Sox signee and 2000 captain Brian Esposito
played in 42 games,
starting in all but one
managed to keep batting average around .300 much of
the season and ended the year with a .297 average with two homers and 18 RBI
made 218 putouts and 29 assists.
