2006 Preseason All-BIG EAST Selection 

2005 » JUnior season: Made an appearance in 13 games, starting eight ... posted a 3.07 ERA in 58.2 innings pitched ... ranked in the BIG EAST top-10 in ERA ... seventh in the league for opposing batting average with a .217 ... registered a 4-0 record ... earned the BIG EAST pitcher of the Week award after pitching a complete game for a 5-1 victory over Boston College (5/20) ... named the 2005 Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) Pitcher of the Year ... was also a CCBL  All-Star as well as being named to the Baseball America Cape League Top-30 Prospect list ...was second in the league in strikeouts with 77 ... earned the Coca Cola Pitcher of the Week award (6/19) ... honored with the John Caffey New England Top Prospect award and the B.F.C. Whitehouse award ... was a New England Iintercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) All-Star ... fanned 10 in a complete game against Georgetown (6/19). 

2004 » sophomore season: Started four games with 11 appearances overall ... recorded an 8.80 ERA with a 1-2 mark in 44.0 innings pitched ... struck out 36 batters while issuing 19 walks ... fanned a season-high six three times ... notched lone win of the season in a start vs. Quinnipiac during which he had one earned run and three strikeouts in 5.1 innings (4/22) ... closed out the season with a strong performance vs. West Virginia, striking out four while scattering two hits and not issuing a walk in five innings of relief (5/23). 

2003 » freshman season: Appeared in 11 games, starting his last eight games … notched a record of 2-3 and worked the third-most innings on the team at 54.1 … threw four innings of no-hit ball in his second collegiate appearance at South Alabama (3/9), striking out two and walking one … finshed third on the team in strikeouts with 45 … earned his first collegiate win against BIG EAST foe Georgetown (3/22) ... went six innings, allowing three earned runs and struck out four to garner the win vs. the Hoyas … worked a season-high seven innings in his start against Boston College, giving up two runs, scattering nine hits and striking out nine in UConn’s 2-1 victory (4/17) … matched his career-high of nine strikeouts against Pittsburgh (5/17).  

high school: A four-year letter winner in baseball and basketball at Burrillville High ... finished prep career as a standout performer for coach Barry Cleary at Suffield Academy ... three-time team MVP and captain ... selected to All-Division and All-State team as a right handed pitcher ... Divisional Player of the Year in 2000-01 ... received the Award of Excellence, Integrity, Ethics and Sportsmanship ... led Burrillville to state runner-up finish ... as a senior, threw 71 innings with an 1.57 ERA, 97 strikeouts and only 11 walks.
