2007 SEASON: Led the team in sacrifice bunts (eight) and walks (31)... Appeared in and started 59 games as a sophomore... recorded 62 hits for a .278 batting average ... had 36 runs scored and 23 runs batted in on the year... also had three doubles and one home run ....hit first career home run in a game against Northeastern (May 7) ...had six stolen bases on the year... went 2-for-3 with a run scored at Western Carolina (Feb. 24)... went 2-for-5 with a run scored at South Alabama (Mar. 4).... recorded a season-high 3 hits against NYIT (Mar. 22)... went 2-for-5 with 2 runs batted in against UMass (Apr. 10)... scored a season-high 3 runs two times (Mar. 27 against Fairfield and Apr. 1 against South Florida).

2006 SEASON: Appeared in 53 games and 47 as a starter during freshman season … hit .268 with four doubles, one triple and 28 runs driven in … notched his first career hit in first game of the season in 2-0 win over Florida Atlantic (Feb. 25) … recorded his first career RBI the following day by driving home two in 9-1 win at Florida Atlantic (Feb. 26) … posted a career-high 4-for-4 performance in an 11-9 loss at Pittsburgh (May 14) … drove home a career-high four runs in a 15-3 win against Hartford (Apr. 26).

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from St. Petersburg High School in St. Petersburg, Fla. ... earned four varsity letters under head coach Stefan Futch ... named first team All-State as a senior ... participated in the All-State All-Star game ... honored with St. Petersburg Times Player of the Year award ... three-time team MVP ... National Honor Society member ... brother Evan played at Florida Atlantic University and in the
Baltimore Orioles system.

PERSONAL: A resource economics major … born August 29, 1986 ... older brother, Nolan, played at Florida Atlantic University and in the Baltimore Orioles system, now coaches at Randolf Macon College in Ashland, Va... older brother, Evan, plays at Division II University of Tampa.
