At Connecticut: Lanky in-state product who can play both guard spots but saw most of his time in 1999-2000 as a back-up at the point ... Excellent team player who reads defenses very well... Played in Greece during summer of 2000 as member of USA All-Star People-To-People team.

As a Freshman in 1999-2000: Appeared in 30 games off the bench... Averaged 1.2 points, 1.1 assists and 0.9 rebounds... Played 5.5 minutes per game... Had career-high of four points and added six assists and 22 minutes in win over Providence on January 27... Had career-best seven assists vs. Coppin State.

High School: Top 50 national recruit ... All-State performer at Kolbe Cathedral High School in Bridgeport ... Same high school as UConns all-time leading scorer Chris Smith ... Connecticut High School Player of the Year as a senior ... Fourth Team Parade Magazine All-American...Averaged 18.1 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 8.8 assists in senior season as he led Kolbe to 26-0 record and the Class M state championship ... Finished high school career with 1,285 points, 841 rebounds, and 587 assists...Two-time First Team All-State pick...Team was ranked No. 1 in both the state and New England schoolboy ranks following the 1998-99 season.
