At Connecticut: Solid at all facets of the game ... An athletic big man ... Very quick for his size ... Can score from anywhere on the court ... Can handle the basketball and excellent taking ball to the basket ... Will step back and make a three-pointer.

High School: Top 50 National High School recruit ... McDonalds All-American along with fellow UConn freshman Taliek Brown ... Averaged 28.8 points and 12.2 rebounds during his senior season at Central Catholic HS in Lawrence, MA before being sidelined with a stress fracture in his left foot (injured in mid-January 2000) ... Averaged 30.1 points and 11 rebounds during his junior season in 1998-99, leading team to Division I state championship ... Named Massachusetts Player of the Year in junior year ... Attended Reading (MA) High School before transferring to Central Catholic.
