As a Sophomore in 2006-07: Saw action in 30 games, making six starts ... Averaged 5.8 points per game and had 65 assists to his credit in 19.3 minutes ... Reached double-figures in scoring on eight occasions, including a season-high 14 against Syracuse ... Had 10 points and three assists against Villanova ... Scored 10 points vs. Louisville ... Tallied four assists without a turnover at Rutgers ... Had five points and rebounds to go with four assists against Syracuse ... Netted 11 points and had team-high seven assists in win over Seton Hall ... Had five assists against one turnover at Georgia Tech ... Had a UConn-freshman record 14 assists in the win over Quinnipiac... Had six points and a career-best seven assists in the win over Army... Had a career-best 15 points in the win over Arizona, hitting all four of his shots from the field and making all six free throw attempts... Had five points, one assist and two turnovers in 31 minutes in his first collegiate game at Pepperdine.

 

Before UConn: 2005 Gatorade Connecticut State Player of the Year... Two-time All-State selection and three-time All-FCIAC selection... In his four years, Trinity Catholic went 103-6, captured three league titles, two state titles and was state runner-up twice... The team was 53-2 in his two years as the starting point guard... Squad went 26-2 in his senior season as he averaged 22.5 points, 5.1 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 steals.
