As a Freshman in 2006-07: A unanimous selection to the BIG
EAST All-Rookie Team... Played in all 31 games, starting at guard in
30 contests... Averaged a team-high 13.8 points, along with 3.6
rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.9 steals in 30.4 minutes per game... Led
team in scoring on 11 occasions this season, scoring at least 20
points on six occasions... He reached double figures in 11 of the
last 12 contests and averaged 19.9 points per game in the last seven
contests, scoring 20 or more points in five of those seven games...
He was named the league Rookie of the Week twice... His six 20-point
contests are the third most by a UConn freshman under Jim Calhoun.
Khalid El-Amin (11 in 1997-98) and Richard Hamilton (9 in 1996-97)
head that list... Led the team in steals with 58, tallying two or
more in 19 games...Tallied a team-leading 21 points and a
career-high five steals against Syracuse in the BIG EAST
Tournament... Had nine points and four assists at Georgetown...
Scored 20 points against Villanova... Led team for fourth-straight
game with 23 points, including six three-pointers, against
Louisville... Had game-high 17 points, including nine free throws,
at Syracuse... Led team with career-high performance, scoring 27

after wrapping up the third game against Mississippi with 16 points,
four assists and two steals... Scored four points and tallied two
assists against Fairfield... Put up team-high 20 points on 7-for-13
shooting against Central Arkansas... Tallied a team-best 16 points
to go with six boards and a block in first collegiate game against
Quinnipiac.
Before UConn: Averaged 26 points, eight rebounds and six assists
as a senior for Proctor Academy in Andover, N.H. in 2005-06...
Attended Churchill HS in Maryland and averaged 20.5 points as a
sophomore in 2002-03... Repeated his sophomore year at Proctor
Academy in 2003-04 and spent two months abroad his junior year in
Spain in 2004-05... Also a member of the football and baseball teams
at Proctor... Played for the U.S. team in the Capital Classic in
April of 2006 at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C.
