Spring 2001: played in all seven tournaments, carding a team-low 70 at the BIG 5 Invitational ... that mark, which tied his career low round, also tied him for third at the tourney ... also tied for fourth at the URI Invitational ... was the top UConn finisher in four out of the seven tournaments ... averaged 77.9 strokes on the season, the best on the team ... named to second team All-New England. Fall 2000: Competed in all five tournaments for UConn, boasting the lowest round of the fall and tying his career-low round of 70 ... carded the second lowest stroke average of the season (77.7) ... his low round of 70 came in the first day of competition at the Yale Invitational, where he went on to claim a tie for third place with a three-day total of 222 (70-73-79) ... shot a three-day score of 224 (77-73-74) at the Adams Cup to tie Coghlan as UConn’s top finisher. Spring 2000: Saw action in all six tourneys, and again finished the season with the second-lowest stroke average (77.8) ... best outing was a two-day score of 153 (74-79), good for a fifth-place tie and UConn’s top finisher at the Rhode Island Invitational. Fall 1999: Finished the season with a 79.4 stroke average in six tournaments ... claimed runner-up honors at the New England Championship after day one was canceled and shot a 75 on day two, helping UConn to a sixth-place team finish. Spring 1999: Competed in six tournaments during the spring of his rookie campaign and led the squad with a season-low stroke average of 77.3 ... shot a low round of 71 on day one of the NCAA East Regional Championships ... earned his first runner-up honors tying for second place with a 74 after only one round at the BIG 5 Invitational ... placed fourth at the Rhode Island Invitational, pacing the squad, and 11th at the New England Championship to help the Huskies to team runner-up honors at both tourneys. Fall 1998: Only one of three golfers to compete in all eight tournaments ... had an impressive rookie outing, shooting a career-low round of 70 on day two of the Dartmouth Invitational to tie for 15th place overall ... finished the Dartmouth tourney with a career-low two day score of 142 (72-70) ... tied for sixth (73-79-153) at the Army Invitational, helping UConn to a first place team finish in a field of 17. In High School: Vigue was a three-time letterwinner under head coach Jim Motyka at Lyman Memorial High School ... an All-State honoree as a senior, he also earned All-Conference honors three years straight ... over the course of his senior season, he medaled in all 23 tournaments. Personal: Sean Richard Vigue ... born September 8, 1980 ... majoring in psychology at UConn.
