AT CONNECTICUT: Has been a key player up front... Led Huskies in scoring as a rookie. AS A FRESHMAN: Started in 24 of 25 contests at forward... Led team in goals scored with 15 and points with 36... BIG EAST Rookie of the Year... All-BIG EAST Second Team... BIG EAST All-Rookie Team... Named to the  Soccer America  All-Freshman Team... Totaled five gamewinning goals including overtime gamewinner vs. Clemson in NCAA Second Round... BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week (9/11)... Two-time BIG EAST Rookie of the Week (10/9, 10/30)... Scored first career hat trick vs. then No. 18 Seton Hall... Finished the BIG EAST regular season ranked first in conference scoring (13g, 3a). IN PREP SCHOOL: Helped lead St. Benedict’s Prep School to the NHSCAA National Championship title in 1998... Finished his junior season with 47 goals and his senior year with 60 goals... His 60 goals scored set a new school record for goals in a single season, which was previously held by former U.S. National Team member Tab Ramos... Originally, from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, he studied soccer at the world-reknowned Tahuichi Soccer School in Santa Cruz... Played under Rick Jacobs at St. Benedict’s and is just one of many student-athletes under Coach Jacobs who have gone onto successful careers at Connecticut, including All-American Maurizio Rocha, Matt Chavlovich, Luis Arauz and Felipe Torres. PERSONAL: Enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences... ACES major... Born November 16, 1980.
