AT CONNECTICUT: Drafted 6th overall by the Minnesota Lynx in the 2002 WNBA Draft... UConn’s 19th 1,000 point scorer in women’s basketball history and finished her collegiate career ranked 14th overall with 1,402 career points... Saw action in 132 career games... Owns top four single season marks for field goal percentage leading with a .759 mark in 2000-01... Shot .704 (140-199) in 2001-02... Also ranks No. 1 on UConn’s career list in field goal percentage with a .703 (560-797) mark... Ranks 10th all-time in rebounding with 763 boards.

2001-02: 2001-02 AP Honorable Mention All-American... 2001-02 Naismith Player of the Year Candidate... 2002 NCAA Mideast Regional All-Tournament Team selection...2002 All-BIG EAST Third Team and 2002 BIG EAST All-Tournament performer... Played in 35 games missing four contests due to shoulder/arm injury... Scored a season-high 20 points before a hometown crowd at Wright State (12/31)... Grabbed a career-high and a team season-high 19 rebounds versus North Carolina (11/15)... Nabbed a career-high tying five steals versus LaTech (12/9)... 2000-01: Played in 33 games, starting on three occasions... Surpassed the 1,000 point mark vs. LIU (March 17) with 12 pts, shooting a perfect 6-for-6 from the floor... Became the 19th player in UConn history to reach the 1,000 point plateau.... Was fifth on the team in scoring with 9.8 ppg.... Ranked third in rebounding with 5.6 caroms a game... Led the team in field goal percentage with an astounding .759 (132-174)... Was leading rebounder in eight contests... Went 5-for-5 from the floor, finishing with 14 pts. vs. Boston College (Mar. 4)... Turned in a double-double vs. Tennessee (Feb. 1) with a season-best 23 points and 10 rebounds.

1999-00: Named Most Outstanding Performer of 2000 BIG EAST Tournament... Scored a season-high 24 points in victory over Boston College (Jan. 26)... Led the Huskies in scoring six times and rebounding four times... Scored in double figures 15 times during the season while shooting .714 (115-161) from the floor... Fifth on the team in scoring with 9.1 ppg... Made appearances in 31 contests, missing six games during the season due to broken left foot and resulting soreness.

1998-99: Played in 33 games with 19 starts... Named The Sporting News National Freshman of the Year... Also named 1999 BIG EAST Rookie of the Year, All-BIG EAST Rookie Team member and ECAC Rookie of the Year... Named to the 1999 Mideast Regional All-Tournament Team... Averaged 22.4 minutes, 13.5 points and 6.8 rebounds a game... Ranked No. 3 in the NCAA and No. 3 in the BIG EAST with a .658 field goal percentage... Made first collegiate start vs. Seton Hall (Jan. 5)... Preseason BIG EAST Rookie of the Year... Five-time BIG EAST Rookie of the Week... Hit two free throws with seven seconds remaining to give UConn a second round NCAA win over Xavier... Seven double-doubles, with a career-high 25 points vs. Miami (Feb. 6)... Season-best 12 rebounds recorded vs. Miami (Feb. 6) and Syracuse (Feb. 23)... Scored in double figures in 26 contests... Led team rebounding in nine games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Street & Smith, Naismith, USA Today and Parade National High School Player of the Year and First Team All-America... Williams was the third UConn player (Nykesha Sales, Shea Ralph) to be named National Player of the Year by USA Today... Averaged 19.4 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.4 blocks and 3.4 steals a game her senior season at Chaminade Julienne High... Scored school-record 2,015 points and had 1,179 rebounds in her career... Also had 296 assists, 185 steals and 135 shots while hitting .720 from the field and .400 from three-point range in four years... Invited to the 1998 WBCA All-America Game... Ranked No. 1 in the nation by Blue Star Index among scholastic recruits.
