HIGH SCHOOL
Selected as 2007 Miss New York Basketball…was a member of Christ
the King (N.Y.) H.S. squad, along with current UConn teammate Tina Charles, that
earned back-to-back No. 1 national rankings from USA Today…averaged 17.0
points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 4.1 steals during senior prep season while
guiding Christ the King H.S. to a 23-4 record and a runner-up finish in the New
York State Tournament…led Christ the King H.S. to its 23rd
consecutive Diocesan Championship in 2007…named to the McDonald’s and WBCA
All-America Teams…averaged 11.2 points and 7.1
assists as a junior to lead Christ the King H.S. to a 30-0 record and No. 1
ranking in the final USA Today National Poll... scored 34 points as a junior and
was named the MVP of the New York State Tournament after leading the Royals to a
79-66 victory over Murry Bergtraum in the New York State Federation Class AA
Final... established herself as one of the most athletic players and top
defenders among high schoolers nationally...named an EA Sports Second Team
All-America choice in 2006...2006 New York Daily News All-City First Team
choice...2006 All-Queens First Team.
