2006-07 SEASON
Appeared in 25 games in a reserve role in the post…averaged 8.9 minutes per game…posted 5.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in limited action…tallied double-figure points in eight games…played a season-best 19 minutes vs. Tennessee (1/6)…ranked fourth on the squad with 19 blocks…tallied lone double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds vs. Colgate (11/16)…saw action in all four of UConn’s NCAA Tournament games and each of the Huskies’ three BIG EAST Tournament games…recorded 10 points going five-of-six in field goals in only nine minutes vs. Villanova (2/24)...posted 11 points vs. DePaul (1/24)...scored 10 points along with nine rebounds at North Carolina (1/15)...played a season-best 19 minutes finishing with six points and six rebounds vs. Tennessee (1/6)...dropped in a season-high 13 points with nine rebounds vs. Oakland (12/23)...came off the bench to score 10 points with three blocks in just nine minutes of play at Virginia (12/18)...notched nine points with six rebounds in only eight minutes at Georgetown (12/7)...scored 12 points while shooting 6-for-8 in just 11 minutes at Holy Cross (12/5)...grabbed nine rebounds and tallied 16 minutes in the win over Purdue (11/30)...registered 10 points against Boston Univ. (11/28)...tallied first double-double of UConn career with 12 points and 10 rebounds in win over Colgate (11/16).


2005-06 SEASON

Started two games for the Huskies while seeing action in 32 during sophomore season...was her first active season in Storrs after sitting out previous season following a transfer from Duke...battled her way back to the court after suffering a knee injury during her freshman season at Duke...posted one double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds in win at Cleveland State (11/27)...scored a season-high 13 points in victory over Cincinnati (1/12)...had a season-high six rebounds in 13 minutes of play in WNIT championship (11/20)...made first start in a UConn uniform and posted 12 points and five rebounds in Preseason WNIT quarterfinal win over Indiana State (11/14).

2004-05 SEASON
Sat out the season due to the NCAA transfer rule.

2003-04 SEASON (AT DUKE)
Played in 27 games as a freshman...suffered a torn lateral meniscus on Nov. 23 against fifth-ranked Purdue...missed a total of seven games due to the injury...averaged 8.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 0.7 assists...collected two double-doubles...had a career-high 20 points and 10 rebounds at N.C. State...in the N.C. State game, hit a career-high 10 of 14 field goals and notched three blocks...posted her first career double-double at Georgia Tech with 14 points and 12 rebounds...in the ACC stat-istics, ranked second in field goal percentage (55.8) and eighth in blocks (1.22)...in ACC games only, ranked 29th in scoring (8.4), second in field goal percentage (57.8) and sixth in blocks (1.36)...scored double-figure points in 12 contests...kicked off her collegiate career with 16 points, five rebounds, five blocks and three steals against third-ranked Texas...came off the bench in the second half against Marquette to score 12 points, grab six rebounds and dish out one assist in the NCAA Tournament...had eight or more rebounds on nine occasions.

2003 Parade National Player of the Year...attended Brookhaven H.S. and played for head coach Reggie Lee...consensus top-rated player in the nation in recruiting rankings by All-Star Girls Report, Full Court Press, Blue Star and All-Game Sports...first team Parade and Street & Smith All-America...played in the WBCA High School All-America game and scored 11 points, had six rebounds, five blocks, two assists and one steal for the white team... had nine points and six rebounds in the McDonald's All-America game for the east team...became the first woman to compete in the McDonald's slam dunk competition...scored 1,344 points (19.8 avg) and had 1,044 rebounds (15.4 avg.) in three years at Brookhaven and collected 63 double-doubles in 68 career regular season games ... as a senior, averaged 23.5 points, 17.6 rebounds, 6.0 blocks and 2.0 steals at Brookhaven...led Brookhaven to district and regional championships, while advancing to the Final Four as a senior...selected Miss Basketball in Ohio, one of three players selected Associated Press Ohio Player of the Year and Associated Press (AP) first team All-State as a senior...named Co-Player of the Year by the Columbus Dispatch...one of 10 finalists for the Naismith Award as the National Player of the Year...earned USA Today first team All-America and Gatorade Ohio Player of the Year ...had career highs of 36 points and 25 rebounds as a senior against Mifflin...averaged 23.9 points and 17.6 rebounds in seven games during the 2003 State Tournament ...a three-time OGBM Dream Team member...as a junior, averaged 19.6 points and 14.0 rebounds...led Brookhaven to a 20-3 mark and a No. 4 final ranking in 2002...earned AP first team All-State, USA Today All-America, Parade Magazine third team All-America, AP Division I first team All-State and Street & Smith's first team All-America, as a junior...had 20 double-doubles, 14 games with 20 or more points scored...a second team AP Division I All-State and Student Sports Sophomore All-America selection...led squad to a 24-1 record, No. 2 ranking in Ohio and were City League Champs and District Champions...attended the Nike All-America camp in 2001 and 2002...lettered as a freshman and sophomore in track & field, while earning first team All-City accolades as a sophomore...lettered in cross country as a senior.

Full name is Brittany Leiann Hunter...born August 30, 1985, in Los Angeles, Calif....daughter of Michael Jones and Jeryll Womack...has one sister, Courtney (20), and one brother, Christopher (12)...her father, James Hunter, played football for Southern California and went on to play for the Baltimore Colts...majoring in sports administration.
