Krysta Valerio began her time at UConn as an academic advisor in July of 2019. Valerio, who comes to UConn after serving as an academic counselor at UMass, works primarily with the UConn men's basketball team.
Prior to her time in Amherst, Valerio served as the tutor coordinator at West Virginia University. She graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a bachelor's degree in sport and leisure management and earned her master's degree in sport administration from Louisville.
A native of Southington, Conn., Valerio also served as a graduate assistant in U of L's academics services for athletics.
